A BergWu selection — and a seriously beautiful Ethiopia.
This one comes from the Wuri Washing Station in Yirgacheffe, selected as part of Berg Wu’s Maker Series.
What caught us was how everything just comes together in the cup. There’s creamy lemon custard, juicy lychee, and sweet peach, followed by delicate florals that become even more noticeable as the coffee cools.
It’s bright without being too sharp, floral without being too delicate, and has a lovely sweetness that keeps you coming back for another sip.

Process
This coffee is washed processed, a method that helps bring out clarity and definition in the cup.
With less influence from the fruit during drying, the coffee’s natural character gets plenty of room to shine. Here, that means clean citrus, juicy stone fruit and delicate florals, all coming through with a beautifully refined sweetness.
In This Cup
Lemon Custard · Lychee · Peach
The lemon custard was what stood out to us — bright and citrusy, but with a creamy sweetness that makes it feel much softer than straight lemon acidity.
Then comes juicy lychee and sweet peach, with delicate white florals sitting in the background. As the cup cools, those fruit and floral notes become even more expressive, leaving a long and refined finish.
Expect something juicy, sweet, floral and layered, with plenty to discover from the first sip to the last.
Why You'll Like This Coffee
This is for anyone who loves a coffee that’s bright and interesting, but still really easy to drink.
There’s enough going on to keep you coming back for another sip — creamy citrus, juicy fruit, florals and a lingering sweetness — but everything feels balanced and effortless.
It’s also versatile. Brew it as a filter for more clarity and delicate florals, or pull it as an espresso for a sweeter, juicier expression.
A beautiful selection from Berg Wu, and definitely one we think is worth trying.
