From the highlands of Costa Rica’s Central Valley (1,600 masl), this exceptional lot features the Catuai and Villa Sarchi varieties.
Awarded an impressive cup score of 94 ☕✨, it beautifully captures the essence of Costa Rican honey process coffees — bright, clean, and sweetly layered.
The name Kinka Bear® is inspired by the kinkajou — a honey-loving rainforest creature known for its gentle curiosity and rare sweetness, perfectly mirroring this coffee’s character.
🧪 Processing
This lot is processed using a yellow honey method: a moderate amount of mucilage (fruit flesh) is left on the beans during drying, allowing some natural sugars to influence flavor without full fermentation.
