The 80° cone that forgives your pour. UFO's V3 02 opens the cone from the usual 60° out to 80°, spreading your coffee into a wider, shallower bed. Change your dose and the bed depth barely moves, so your brew stays consistent even when your morning isn't. You get the clarity of a cone with the even extraction of a flat-bottom.

Brewer of choice of Nas Jaafar, 2026 World Brewers Cup Champion.

Why you'll like it

  • 80° wide angle – longer contact time, so even smaller doses extract properly, and a cleaner cup.
  • Air channels instead of ribs – the filter doesn't stick to the wall, airflow stays steady, fewer stalls.
  • Holds heat – BPA-free body with low heat loss keeps your slurry at temperature.
  • Switch-ready – detachable base sits straight onto a Hario Switch base (not included).

Specs

  • Size: 02 – holds up to 300ml at once
  • Material: Clear – Tritan; Black – ECOZEN by SK Chemicals (both BPA-free)
  • Best filter: UFO Type F 02 (sold separately)

Good to know

V60 papers work with a quick fold, but Type F 02 fits perfectly with no folding. Rinse with warm water after each brew.
