Sourced from the renowned Yirgacheffe area (Gedeo Zone, SNNPR region) in Ethiopia, this Grade 1 red honey processed lot is grown above 1,700 metres altitude by heirloom varietal trees cultivated by dedicated small-holder farmers. Nestled in the heart of Ethiopia’s coffee heritage, the region’s fertile red-brown soils and multigenerational farming traditions shine through in this exceptional micro-lot.
🧪 Processing
This coffee uses the Red Honey method — cherries are depulped but retain their mucilage, and the beans are dried with a high sugar content still intact. This creates a cup profile that is sweet and syrupy, layered with florals and delicate complexity, while maintaining the clean clarity that Yirgacheffe is celebrated for.

Aroma (dry): Lemon peel, peach, bergamot, sweet floral hints
Flavour on sip: Lemon custard sauce, white peach, Calpis-like brightness, finishing with honey sweetness and delicate coffee flower aroma
